 Mulrooney
- Diane A., (nee Wrich), age 61, of Eagan, passed away from Acute
Myelogenous Leukemia on September 2, 2002 while surrounded by her loving
family. Diane was a 1959 graduate of Our Lady of Peace High School, St.
Paul and was a 1962 graduate of the St. Cloud Hospital School of Nursing.
She worked as a Registered Nurse at the VA Hospital in Minneapolis. She
volunteered as a guide at the Landmark Center, St. Paul. She was an
administrator with the Minnesota Historical Society working at the James
J. Hill House, where she started as a tour guide. Diane developed and
prospered in her own antique business located in St. Paul and Stillwater.
She enjoyed her numerous voluntary activities at the Church of St. Peter.
She is survived by her husband Garrett 'Gar'; 5 children Peggy (Mark)
Hoffman, Garrett (Anissa Mediger), Mark (Dona), and Katy Mulrooney, all of
St. Paul; Patrick (Karin), Waukesha, WI; 6 grandchildren Ali, Jenna,
Hattie, Greta, Sara, and Devin; mother Sara Wrich, West St. Paul; sister
Joane (Jerry) Scherer; brother Bill (Mary) Wrich; nieces, nephews, and
other relatives. Diane's love, strength, friendship, compassion and
selfless nature will be greatly missed. Mass of Christian Burial 10AM
Saturday at the CHURCH OF ST. PETER, Mendota. Visitation at WILLWERSCHEID
& PETERS MORTUARY, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul from 4-8PM Friday with a
prayer service and moments of remembrances at 7PM. Burial at Resurrection
Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Visitation Monastery of Minneapolis.
