Hi! I’m Megan Kelly, Miss Shamrock 2008! I was born and raised in St Paul – Rice and Maryland to be exact. While I no longer live there, I have a very soft spot in my heart for my home town.

I come from a very Irish background. Both of my Grandfathers, Tom Kelly and Vincent Kelly, were so proud of their Irish heritage and joyfully passed that along to me. Actually, to be honest, while I was growing up, I thought I was only Irish! While my Grandfathers are no longer with us, I know they are with me always and so proud and happy of me and my accomplishment.

I recently graduated from Regency Beauty salon and am currently a hair dresser at Escape Salon and Tan up in Stacy. I also am a bartender on the Tiki Barge Bar in Lindstrom. But my most important job is being Miss Shamrock!

I am so honored to be Miss Shamrock 2008 and so blessed to be a part of the St Patrick’s Association Family
